Poster session- most important information

Ladies and Gentleman,

As part of the 2nd edition of the XII Conference “Young Scientists in Power Engineering” there will be a special multimedia poster session, during which 19 scientific posters will be presented. Owing to the remote form of the Conference, we would like to share the most important information which will be helpful in preparation for this event.

Please find below the most important issues related to this event.

  1. Posters should be prepared in A1 or A0 format, in pdf file, where possible
  2. There is no official poster template available. Each author is responsible for preparing the presentation, taking care of the logical structure, legibility, including the logotype of the Conference, name, date and link address to the Conference. The logo can be downloaded here.
  3. Presentations of each poster should consider 2-3 minute discussion of the topic of the presentation and its main content. The session will be held analogically to the oral presentations – authors of the posters will be brought forth by the Chair of the session (based on the schedule), by sharing the screen. Afterwards, authors will present their posters. Owing to such a form of presentations, authors are kindly asked to follow the schedule attentively.
  4. There is no need for sharing the presentation with the Organizers. Each presenter is responsible for sharing their materials from their computer. If one would like to use the Organizers’ computer for sharing their prensetation, please contact directly via kme@pwr.edu.pl
  5. After the presentation of the poster, authors are obliged to remain till the end of the ongoing session, as listeners will be given the opportunity to ask questions. For this purpose, organizers will prepare separe discussion rooms and authors of the posters will be moderators of these rooms.
  6. There is a possibility to include the poster on the Conference website or in the Book of Abstracts. More information will be provided soon.
