The “Young Researchers in Energy Conference” are aimed at promoting the scientific activities of the young generation of scientists connected with power engineering in the broad sense of the term, and at strengthening relations between industry and science. Organised since 2007, continuously associated with the Faculty of Mechanical and Power Engineering at Wrocław University of Science and Technology, they provide an excellent opportunity to learn about the research offer of participating students, scientific circles, PhD students, young postgraduates and experienced university staff. Our meetings also encourage the establishment of long-term contacts with scientists and entrepreneurs and cultivate close cooperation between the worlds of science and business. We would also like our offer to be an incubator for new ideas and to lead to the commercialisation of research work – in close cooperation with the energy industry.
